Description
Tradescantia Nanouk, also known as Fantasy Venice, is the trending plant right now on Instagram because of its pretty bright green, pink & purple, fuzzy-ish leaves growing on chunky stems. It’s not like any other Tradescantia because it’s a new variety grown by cross-pollinating two selected seedlings of Tradescantia albiflora in the Netherlands in 2012. Tradescantia plants originated in Central America, Mexico, and South America, but Tradescantia Nanouk originated in Sappemeer, The Netherlands. While it’s the new “it” plant, it’s not a difficult plant. In fact, it’s one of the easiest houseplants to care for, which makes it a great choice for beginners!
It’s important to avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot. Aim to keep the soil slightly moist but not waterlogged. If in doubt, it’s better to go underwater than overwater. Soil and Potting: Tradescantia Nanouk thrives in a high-quality potting mix that retains moisture without becoming.
